I am Walei, an Italian singer whose voice has found its truest expression across the boundaries of language and culture. For over 13 years, I have fostered a deep, personal connection with Chinese culture and the Mandarin language, a bond solidified through prestigious scholarships that allowed me to live and study in both Beijing and Singapore. These years of immersion have made the East a foundational element of my musical identity and my soul.

My music is driven by the belief that a melody is the most powerful universal language. While my Mandarin repertoire and my passionate Chinese-Western fusion project—often featuring the ancestral sounds of the Guzheng—are central to my artistic research, my curiosity knows no limits.

This distinctive artistic path has recently led to prestigious international invitations, such as being scouted by the Swiss Chamber of Commerce in Shanghai to bring my sound to their global stage.

I am a dedicated polyglot performer, finding immense joy in interpreting songs across numerous languages, including French, English, Mandarin, Modern Greek, Spanish, and my native Italian. This unique path, built independently from Italy to Geneva, allows me to authentically connect with any audience, creating performances that are truly diverse, culturally grounded, and universally moving.

To create the unique, enveloping atmosphere that defines my performances, I collaborate with a diverse roster of exceptional musicians. This allows me to offer customized musical experiences, ranging from intimate acoustic sets to elaborate cultural showcases.

My ensembles feature instruments that create rich sonic textures and beautiful cultural blends: Piano, Guzheng (Chinese Zither), Harp & Pipa (Chinese Lute).
